The CUCV's had gigantic trays, different than the stock civvies. I seem to recall fitting a pair of group 78's onto one with a bit of work, and they should be a direct bolt up to an 81-up truck.

Its not going in a truck, its a project im working on. I think ive got it figured anyways.

i got mine from LMC Truck all factory style stuff fit is great and shipping was really fast whole setup with wires cost me about 56 bucks

If your adapting one to something else,look at a local body shop supply store that sells rust repair and crash repair parts--they have many different battery trays available in their listings to replace OEM ones that were rotted or damaged in a crash for cheap money..back when I had my 81 van on the road,I wasted a day welding up the rotted battery tray,and a few days after ,a friend showed me a "crash parts catalog" a guy came in with from a crash parts distributor--I could have bought one new for 15 bucks....
