Looking for hood scoop

I need a hood with a slight scoop for an 82 GM truck ... cawl induction style would be fine. It needs to be functional, I need the additional clearance for my little B&M blower. 2" to 4" would be fine.

Any recomendations?

Go hillbilly and get a mailbox and pop rivit it to your hood! just kidding. Have you tried looking on ebay? There are a few styles of scoops there including cowl induction ones.

Go to a truck parts store in your area. You can find a fuctional cowl hood. They run about $400.

Not sure on what your looking for, but we got a steel hood for my brothers race camaro, and it was about $800. truck hoods were a lil more. if u look in j.c. whitney, they have some nice ones for cheap.

There is a link from this website to 73-87 chevy trucks etc.etc.com. They have a cowl induction hood listed for $399 but I've seen the same place have them on sale for $349.

You can get a 3" cowl piece or the "outlaw" 4.5" one for $149.95 but then you have to do the body work to install it to your current hood.
