Ok guys wanna help me real quick a guy wants to sell me a dana 60 with 4.10s complete hub to hub for $650 is this a good deal a pic will come shortly

I say Yes. Here in CA they are harder to find though. Im sellin one for $900 and I know i'll get thet.Do you know the mileage on it? might save if its low enough.

You better find out first if it's a GM D60. The Dodge D60 will work with a mod to deal with the spring perch center to center width difference.

That looks like a GM Dana 60 to me. The Dodge Dana 60 driver's side steering arm is straight. The GM ones drop down.

Yea it looks like a GM 60 but I would check it first. I love how they just cut the shocks off thats great

I think i saw that on ebay recently, that or craigslist. I'm in MA too looking for a dana 60. I have to wait until my next paycheck though. Around $650 seems to be about the going rate for D60s around us. There's a DRW 60 for $525 on ebay in MA right now though.

Doesn't matter what arm is currently on it as someone may have changed it. As you know it is very uncommon to find anything of this vintage that is stock anymore.

Ever been up to the rust belt? lol...that is standard operating procedure by junkyards up here...why fork around with some rusted together fasteners when the blue wrench works so well?

Not really an issue, the springs are only 1/4" off per side. You can pry them apart, or just use some offset bushings.

That is very true. You have a PM.

Well my buddy has a dana 60 in his yard. He told me that if i can find him a 1979 high pinion ford dana 60 he'll trade me. Now I'm on the search.

I wouldn't do it, the HP ford 60 is worth more.
I'd buy his then look for the ford 60 for future use.
