yea true but since hes running a 700r4, its be a pain to get a spacer, and then swap inputs. the ddrop 241 will bolt right on

i would not trade that axle for a chevy 60. thats in much better shape and is worth more than a chevy 60 to begin with as already stated.

thats a gm 60. The drivers side perch has daylight under it and the dodge one is all cast like a rear 14ff. I have a dodge and a chevy 60 and those are the only obvious differences i see from a glance.

Dana 60 bible on pirate says the Dodge Dana 60 is 2" narrower WMS to WMS than the GM 60. It says 67.5" WMS to WMS for the Dodge, 69.5" for GM. It also says the spring perch width is different, 2.5" wide for the Dodge, 3" wide for the GM.

Does anyone know if this info is correct?

that is correct, the dodge wms is 2" narrower, about the same as chevy rear axles, except van 14b
