Yeah, definitely looks good in those pictures.

Definitely try and find a member to go check it out. Friend of mine once drove 6 hours each way to trade trucks with a guy...only to get there and find out the truck just wasn't as nice as he had hoped. Ended up driving his truck back home and keeping it.

TRS eh? Used to be a member over there before the last board change. Had a '96 Ranger 4x4 on 33's.

ya i have plans to go get it on fri the 3rd. hey anyone know how i can deal with the plate for the truck to get it home right now im thinking just use my other trucks plate

If you are for sure buying it you could always have him send you the title overnight. Then just go and insure it and register it. That's what I did but then my buddy looked it over ahead of time for me and I was FOR SURE getting it. By the time I got to Seattle it already had Michigan plates on it and had been insured by me for almost a month.

Otherwise...and you might want to check your local laws but I think this is pretty universal...if you purchase a vehicle you can drive it back straight home with proof of ownership/purchase, proof of insurance (either on it or another car that's current), and a valid driver's license.

My insurance agency will issue a "so and so has insurance with us and we will insure his '89 Chevy K5 Blazer once it is officially reg'd in his name" letter to me for things like this.

Having your plate on there might ease some cops' minds but at the same time might add some explaining. Sorta 6 of one half a dozen of another.

looking at those pics with as much as they dont really show, if everything was as nice as the outside, thats a $5-$7K blazer round here.

be sure to check the steering box area for cracks at the frame. its a $100 repair if needed, but can knock a cool grand off the asking price.

What weight?

I'm going to say no. K5's didn't have highest towing capacity to begin with and now it's much taller with way bigger tires. Asking for 700r4 and 10b troubles.

trailer has a max rating of 5100 lbs with the weight of the trailer and horses. the horses i know are about 2000 pounds.

Last I knew the max towing capacity on a K5, even with the trailering package, was about 3500lbs.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong?
