I have a 1980 K5 with cross over, high steer and hydro assist as for the steering. I have a throttle body fuel injected 383 which is the vacuum is hooked to the brake booster. I have Dana 60 with disc up front and 14 bolt FF with drums in the rear. Everything worked great with the cross over and high steer before adding the Hydro assist.
Now when I clock my wheels all the way to the right or left the brake pedal goes all the way to floor and I completely loose all of the brakes.
There is no fluid leaks at any of the brakes. I've replaced the vacuum booster and the master cylinder for the brakes. I've bled the lines several times hoping to find air but never did.
I did notice upon inspecting the steering that the passengers steering bump stop was completely broken off and the drivers was bent all the way to a 90 degree angle.
Has anyone experienced this problem? Any ideas or suggestions?
