I've had many "nice cars" and trucks in the past--none were perfect,most had some rot patches and dents,but were nice for their age,and the best part was there was still enough of them around to be able to pick one up pretty cheap,especially if they needed work and the previous owners were not able to do the repairs or afford to farm them out to someone else..
Nowadays,I'm not so sure I'd want anything new,or an old "nice" truck or muscle car--they are too prone to being wrecked by some distracted douche bag on a cell phone,and anywhere you park one it will be at risk to having it vandalized,someone hitting it and taking off, or stolen..insurance is too costly for an old P-O-S now,if you insure an old muscle car or truck for its full appraised value you'll be paying well over $1000 bucks around here if not more..
I get nervous enough parking my old heap in many places--I would get an ulcer worrying about a "nice" vehicle if I had to park it in a not so nice area to attend a concert,or at a hospital when I need to go get medical tests..people SUCK worse than ever before nowadays..
