anyone have a part for # it?

I've spent the past hour trying to locate one...all the parts store sites, including Rock Auto don't show it...

It can get aggravating sometimes...:doah:

I should do mine too..my 82 GMC's colum has a trashed lower bearing, sounds like the balls are rusted and some are probably missing..turning it 10 million times lock to lock plowing wore what was once a nice tight colum into a sloppy POS over the past 10 years..

I dont have any part numbers ---but there was a thread here a while back someone posted about buying a lower steering colum bearing from a Jeep dealer separately for cheap money and its the same one as GM's use..
Wish I nade note of it..:doah:

This is the Jeep part# from Quadratrac. This is what I got.

Parts book shows 26001827 for auto with tilt. Hope thats the right one for you.
I got one for mine at the chevy dealer several years back.

Bingo! that's the one. Thanks guys :waytogo::waytogo::waytogo:

55 bucks!....I thought it was around 11 bucks ??..maybe I'll just swap in my spare colum someday I saved from my 77 GMC instead--while I'm at it ,I should get a jeep steering shaft too and upgrade to u-joints,the two rag joints are sloppy on it as well.....if the truck doesn't blow up first..engine is sounding kinda scary lately..

I knocked my spare colum over in the garage the other day,and busted the ignition switch on it.....my punishment for procrastinating and not putting it in my truck sooner...:doah:
