So i have nothing but time on my hands to plan my project. I originally wanted to do a ls2 then moved to a lq9 with a SC now im thinking of going with a stroker kit and using the money from the SC and making a bullet proof bottom end and always adding the SC in a few years. Anyone done it yet pros and cons for each? The truck will kinda be a DD but i only go 10 miles a day and never take it off post unless it is fishing or to do some mudding and trails. i'd also like to be able to tow a boat that i plan on buying when I get back. let the good ideas fly! I plan of doing a 6-8in front coil over conversion running 38's have a 14 bolt rear and 10 bolt front what gears should i run also? shackle flip in the back and for tcase i plan on an np205. also what can i do to get more flex out of the rear my truck is so stiff now a speed bump causes me to piss blood from bruised kidneys. many more questions but i'll stop here

why eat hp and money with super charger ?

these things are stupid easy to turbocharge .

lots of guys on ls1tech.com doing them with 4.8 and 5.3 motors and getting 550-600hp no problems.

do some reading overthere seems like a good high traffic site.

and reason i say waste hp and monoy is turbo you buy 1 time and use wasted exaust to spin it for free power.

super charger or blowers take power to make power.

I would like the power really low and a SC just makes since to me. You spend money to make money. Spend power to make power.

I threw a blower on my 5.3 becasue I got it for super cheap, I am only running around 7 pounds of boost and my truck hauls. My blazer is on 1 tons 465 transmission, 4.10 gears and 37 inch tires and I can manage a 0-60 time of 5.9 seconds, that said If i would have had to pay full price for a blower I would have gone turbos, I still may someday to get more than the 7 pounds im currently running
