I have my LQ9 in the blazer and it is running well. Sort of. It idles great in Park but hunts in N and revs higher and higher in gear.
I have the gear selector switch down on the trans and the #9 light green wire comes out of that and up to the Blue #34 pinout on the PCM. I also grounded the switch using the Black and White wire that is on the selector.
It seems to do the same thing everytime.
Startup is high idle followed immediately with low idle PERFECT!
R is high idle immediately
N is high idle followed by good idle for two seconds, then high idle. But not as high as gears
Gears are all high idle (I would guess 3k rpm)
I am guessing I don't have an air leak as the idle in Park wouldn't be correct either.
I have a tune from 208 motorsports and he is helping me out. I can't find my scanner so I can't scan it right now, but I am looking for things I can start troubleshooting at.
I connected up the Brake Switch Wire from the harness today, but it seems that all of the changes I have made today (gear selector, wire to PCM and Ground) have done nothing.
Any help would be appreciated.
