LS cams and computers

I’m using an external pump with the dual switch valve. It’s returnless but that’s easy to remedy if needed
I'm mildly concerned about wheeling a truck that has saddle tanks but hey...it's what I got. Plus my plans don't involve rock crawling although you just never know about me. I do plan to have it out to Bazer Bash this year...
 
The saddle tanks might give you issues out there
 
When I swap the bed they will be up in there pretty good. I'll just have to wait and see what it looks like.

On a side note, I need to order a fuel pump. ONe that can be run off of the ECM. Suggestions oh all knowing swap gods? And yes, I will be replacing all of my fuel line with fuel injection grade high pressure line.
 
I used the airtex e1000 it siphones super good too. Never had a single issue with priming it.
 
Where did you locate yours?
I found a website I think it’s lsdiy or something along those lines, used a 2.2 s10 return regulator to match the oem feed and return lines. They recommend that pump and I haven’t had a single issue.

6.0 intake, injectors and DBW harness will work on my 5.3 (gen3) correct? I've been looking for a really nice setup in my local yard and they just got in a 2006? With a 6.0. It has an aftermarket throttle body on it and what looks like aftermarket injectors, coils and plug wires. I hesitated to pull it not knowing if it would be the same. Gimme some quick input here and I'll go grab it this afternoon.

They are pulling the manual transmission when I was there so I will likely get the flywheel from it as well for my 5.3. I'll take another close look at it. It might even have a cam, just seems silly to have all of those aftermarket parts to not have a little more work done to it. Truck was hit HARD in the back and totaled. Drivetrain is great.

How much for the whole engine?
6.0 is better than the 5.3 and it already has everything you need
 
It's got a ton of miles on it. Not really interested, especially when I have a brand new 5.3 sitting here.

No thanks....LOL. Runs good but shows 320k on the dash. My 5.3 now has zero miles...brand new.

All this back and forth and no one has answered the question. Will the 6.0 stuff work with my 5.3?
