Alright my buddy gave me a set of 8 lug 16.5" slots. I love the look of these things and would love to put them on the /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif. My buddy kept saying something about the lug nuts that I would have better luck finding the lug nuts for the rims /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif. So whats special about them and where can I find the nuts I need?

ok i dont know the name of them but some one will some one even posted a pic of them once. you can get them at speed shops, the lug has a nut section and an untapering secton that fits into the rim, there is also a think washer that seats aganst the rim. hope it helps.

Any tire/wheel shop should have them in stock. Like a Discount Tire or similar shop. Heck even Sears should have them in their shop. Just take one of the wheels to fit the nut to. If you can take it in the vehicle the wheels will be going on it will be even better cause they can make sure that the nut fit your studs as well.

Just standard mag wheel lug nuts. They are shanked instead of tapered.

You need 9/16" mag lugs (don't get short shank they are for steel wheels). Mags are not as common as they once were (I work for a large tire company). But we have around 8 at a time in the store and can get a full set in a few hours.
