Most of us over on SteelSoldiers managed about 15mpg with our trucks in stockish form. I see about 13mpg now with my truck on the 38's. However they're HEAVY and it's not exactly aerodynamic.

m1008 mpg?

Seems like pretty bad mpg when I hear the blazers with the 6.2 can get 20+
With OD or a stick. The M1009's are lucky to see 20 on the freeway. The TH400 is a power sucking hog (if reliable) and the M1008's are geared low and heavy.
They're all still lightyears better than a gasser though. Find me a 350 or 454 equipped 1 ton with a similar setup that would get similar mileage to mine and I'll buy it. You'd be talking 11-12mpg at best.
