is the stock K5 m1009 military dif a 4:10 RATIO with the 31" tires?
and would 4:56 ratio with 35" tires keep the driving characteristics the same?

4.56's you really dont want to go any smaller than 37's on the road. with no overdrive and a 6.2 diesel, you'll still be spinning the snot out of the engine on the highway. 42's+4.56's are about equal to stock tires and 3.08's that are on your m1009 now.

I'd want 3.73 or 4.10 gears for 35's with the 6.2L and TH400.

i have 4.10's in mine with 35's and seems about right for everything i do with it
