Nope she runs like a top. It just screams at 55. I gotta get used to the 3 speed with no O/D.

The box is really growing on me. I'm picturing my own little 1 ton RV. Its kinda in a little better shape then I was hoping. Its gonna make it tough for me to justify tearing it apart and swapping a cab and bed on.

Thanks, its in surprising shape and alot of the stuff actually works. Heat and A/C seem to be good.

I can say from experience you need at least tires that are actually 35" tall to make it happy going 55mph and faster. Mine are actual 37" tall tires and it's not bad. OD would still be good for 60+ though.

where can i find info and brackets for running 2 alternators....1 for each battery...sounds cool...is it fesable/doable..or are the twin alternators for 24v only?

You are aware that the M1010's box is linked the cab, right? Not a separate unit like the 1031 maintenance trucks and the radio shelters on the 1028's.

Yeah, I've been living on steelsoldiers and the govt liquidation sites the last few days doing research and am aware that they are attached to the cab. Its for a camping vehicle project.

I think at this point I would swap my Trazer/m1028 truck on 42's for a clean m1010. Really. I just like them.
