Magik's 1987 Jimmy - Jiminy

I had to remove the blower motor to clean out another mouse motel today. Then I removed the heat diverter box and installed a mouse guard to keep them out of the system.

I took Jiminy to get a Christmas tree. Drove it 30 miles on the highway to clean it out after hours of idling through the woods while I hauled wood.

awesome house, awesome truck, awesome location, i love the thread, now the question is, do you have the plans scanned to a pdf for that conversion in the cab? hehe. id love to make something like that, but i dont want to cut the sides off, so the dimensions might be different.

I had to haul another load of wood today with a high temperature of 0 degrees and a wind chill much colder. Jiminy started right up even though the low last night was -13 degrees. I don't like to make wood when the temperature is below 10 degrees because the chainsaw will freeze up if left to sit while loading wood but an 11" tree on the edge of my land blew down onto the road last night in the 55 mph winds.

Jiminy after breaking 2' drifts and trails in the woods with SS Dauntless after plowing out from Drago.

Dauntless as in Kaiser Jeep 225 CI odd fire V6.

The "Dauntless" 225 V6 engine was introduced in 1966 in the CJ and C101 models. The V6 configuration of the engine makes it very compact which is a big plus in tight Jeep engine compartments. Kaiser purchased the tooling to build the 225 from Buick and later, AMC sold the tooling back to Buick. A desendent of this engine, the 231 (3.8L) V6, is used in GM cars to this day.

I buried Jiminy today. I need to figure out how to go through snow more than 2 feet deep without getting stuck. I have tried 4 wheel low, 4 wheel high, going extremely slow and going extremely fast. Going extremely fast has gotten me extremely stuck.

I am getting cracks in my tires by the lugs and they are less than 2 years old.
