Magik's 1987 Jimmy - Jiminy

Jiminy and Woody worked together making wood today. Woody skidded logs up to 6" in diameter and hauled larger ones cut up in the sled out of the woods. Jiminy hauled them to the house. I removed the plow, the side wings from the front brush guard and the front rack then added a home made chainsaw carrier to Woody. 30+ inches of snow slows down wood making.

30" of snow stops my king quad dead! Tracks would making plowing a bit easier. Are the side wings to the plow detachable? I need to make something like that.

The home made side wings are detachable with a grinder. They have to be cut off so I can push snow with the blade angled. Here are 2 pictures of the box edge. The plow is upside down. You can see how the 1/8" box edge got bent.

I can't drive on the road in January with Wisconsin Hobbyist plates so I took Jiminy out for a nice ride today.

Glad to see the ole girl is still running and getting stuff done for you :thumb:

I have the same problem ('cept my plate is blue instead of green). But I usually have the rigs parked for the salty season. So it hasn't bothered me yet.

I live just south of Highway 64 between Merrill and Medford.

Ok. We've been through Merrill several dozen times during our treks around the area (we lived in Rhinelander for a while). But Medford is somewhere I haven't been yet. Will keep you in mind next time we head that direction again. We're currently in the NE corner of the state along the Yooper border. :)

I had to replace my replacement Dunlops with Goodyear Wrangler MT/Rs. Finding 35 X 12.50 X 15 tires is getting harder.
