Yanked this out of a '75 Volvo for my onboard air project. Didn't even know what I had until I broke down the numbers. Turns out it has a manufacture date on it from 2001! Clutch checked out, no rust, thing looks pretty good. I lucked out and got the long stroke 10.3 c.i. model too. Not bad for a 12 dollar compressor.

Anyone ever mount one of these? Any ideas? All I've got on the driver's side is the P/S pump, don't currently have an A/C compressor. I have /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif and /forums/images/graemlins/grind.gif at my disposal, but no /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gif.

Nice score /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Just take and make a bracket that bolts off the front of the driver side head and bolts to that york bracket that has the 4 bolts

then another brace that goes back from there to one of the exhaust manifold bolts and you'll be set /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Easier said than done. I've never fabbed a single thing before. Should I pick up some angle iron or flat stock? What size would I get? What about adjustability?

I'll be in Tacoma on the 19th- 22nd droping my daughter off at college. I have a york bracket for a SBC I could bring along and you could maybe have it repoed. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

That would be awesome! I'm right off the freeway too. PM me with details; let me know what you want it for.

Oh yeah, do you remember where or how it mounted? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I'll have to look around and find where I stashed it. Then I'll post some pics. It mounted the compressor dead center on top if I remember right. This was on a '72 K20 I had with aftermarket air added to it.
