I bet that thing will jump out of a whole so fast and throw so much mud up in the air that it will slam your head back into the seat, make your ears ring when it hits 6000-7000RPMS, and give you a HUGE boner all at the same time. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

Q: Did you ever have overheating problems before? How do you keep 1000+ hp cool?

I don't think I've ever seen anyone mud race with 44s. Definitely different than they do it here.

Here, the mud is deep, but 38x11 Boggers seems to be the order of the day. If the mud is too deep, they'll choose a taller/wider tire but usually it's not TSLs.

Must be nice to have all that HP to keep 'em moving though. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Gas at 1.85 per gallon x two gallons per mile, 30 gallon tank x 1.85= $55.50= 15 miles per tank. /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Umm Ahhhhh, i think you did your math wrong.. With 16-20# psi boost.. i'm pretty sure he's gonna be running like 114 octane when he cranks up the boost to make some serious power. So thats like $4.50 a gallon. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I guess if you detune it and run low boost for the street you'd get away with 91 octane, but what fun would that be? /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Pump gas? 87' Octane? Are you crazy? Of course that won't work, he will have to run premium.

yes... premium premium, the stuff that should still be sold at gas stations everywhere.

we have a Sunoco here that sells 110 Octane at the pump 4.25 a gallon. On the issue of gas Mileage, it is realy not that bad as long as you are not into the peddle too much (driving on the road)A fun day of wheeling will be about $100.00 for fuel. Well worth it though.... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

We have one station I know that sells 110 at the pump, they sell Cam 2 its way up north though. Right near the racetrack my dad runs at. He stops and fills up before each race. Our sunoco sells 94, good for when you are on the edge compression wise, but still unleaded.

Do you have any front shots of it, just to give an idea of how tall the truck is?

That thing is sick, imagine, twice the horsepower most of the big muscle cars are putting down

Looks clean! Mine used to look like that! Can't wait to see that 540 Merlin in action! Good luck! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
