Maybe he has other important things to do, you know since he's an adult with a job and a life....
I could be wrong but I don't think he is working right now, or maybe when he isn't working on construction overseas he is doing it here....iono.
Plus he posted all day long so I figured he could snap some pics for us.

Come on Manny! Get some pics to steer this thread back on track. I'm out until I see some pics.

He's not really spending any more than anyone else-he's just spending it all at once!...

There may be more to this that you realize. I suspect that there are plenty of folks who are breathless over the amount of $$$$ being spent on this rig, who on second thought realize that they have bought most (if not all) of the same upgrades on their own truck over time. It's kind of like an unpleasant reminder of how much money can be spent on this hobby/addiction...

I added up my reciepts once (a long time ago) and the number was staggering... I'm not sure I have the stomach to do that again. :D

Manny, it's great that this is being done with money you've saved and not with a high-limit credit card. I've seen people "build their dreams" on plastic and the results are almost never happy or good. It sounds like you've had the discipline to save for a long time, and this build is your big payoff.....enjoy it! :thumb:

The way this is turning out, my prediction is that this truck will end up in the 2008 Rigs of CK5 Calendar.... all you need is one killer "action shot" in the mud flinging that goo off all 4 tires!!! :usaflag:

Sweet buildup! That rig is gonna be awesome when complete!

One thing that you need to consider... Talk to your insurance agent! If your rig were to burn, get wrecked or stolen :eek1:, the insurance company would give you about $1,500 for it (assuming you have full coverage). Ask about stated value insurance for it. It doesn't cost much more, and it will cover the rig for an amount that you and the insurance company agree to up front. Add up all the reciepts, take them pictures, etc. to show how nice it is. It is certainly worth a LOT more than blue book!

Uhh, one thing. Don't tell them too much about the engine... They might refuse to insure a truck with 500 HP. :doah:

I know it's not the sort of thing that most folks like to think about, but $h!t happens... Be prepared and it can reduce the pain somewhat.

nice writeup, very excellent choice of parts. Cant wait to see that thing flinging mud at full throttle. Very nice bumper btw.

looks good...just split the movie up into two parts...you see that done all the time on google video/You Tube/etc....
Part I and Part II....just a thought.

Great thought Avery, but the problem is I'm around 2-4 GB so far. I've video'd complete installment. That includes hub work: races, bearing, seals. Rotor installation with wheel studs, and the installation on the axle of the disc brake bracketry and hub assemblies. I've got to edit it, but it'll still be up there.

I'm trying, believe me!

Nice BFH!

I like the play-by-play action shots there. keep up the build! :waytogo:

i remember when i first did the disc conversion. loved it ever since! keep it up

lol, chevy305...I was thinking the same thing...very nice BFH...I use one of those at work from time to time when things just don't work right...

Oh, Manny I didn't mean for the complete movie...but before you were talking about one that was like 120mb or something close to that...I meant break it up into like two 60's...
