It was pretty easy to cut off the old perches with a 4" metal cutoff wheel. I think I only needed one of them.

Just bolt everything up loose and set it where you need it. Maybe even take a picture of the angle and post it up here if you need confirmation it's right before taking it to a welder. Heck even a muffler shop could weld them back on.
