Manny posted a shot of a car wreck and made a comment about the guy who wrecked it basically being a jackass. One of the other members didn't think that it was funny and said so. They tied into it a little and Manny got on the mod button.

Honestly, if someone says something that you disagree with, its better to just ignore it, but he would not.
 
I agree with CBBR and a lot of guys on the situation and it sucks that he had to take it as far as threatening lawsuit.

We all have opinions and I don't usually see eye to eye with a lot of things that are said or done. If no one likes what they see or hear then walk away.
I and no one should push anything down anyone's throat via whatever! We are all grown people and should learn to take care of our own problems. Why bring it to someone else? Mods and whoever else is in charge of these sites have a lot of better things to do than have someone come down on them and take it as far as threatening. We all have a nut sack and need to remember that.
 
I saw no problem with Manny until recently. It would be silly to ban a topic just because one person can't control their emotions. Once I found out about the legal threat I lost all respect for Manny. There was no reason to threaten Steve with legal action because of a thread gone sour. That's ridiculous and childish.

oh, i have a already mixed quart of paint for the paint code on your blazer craig was going to reshoot a panel for a friend but he sold the truck.

Question, did Steve, or any other mod tell you directly that Manny threatened legal action? I am just asking, I never read where this was the case, but easliy assumed considering the time frame.

I agree though, whoever threatened the legal action is not living in the real world, and IF itwas Manny, I have lost some respect for him also.

steve told me diectly, he called me up on the shawn line and asked me to spread the news for him and do his bidding..oh yea and he said he didnt like you too.

Yep.

I've never seen more threads deleted and the person not banned as Manny has done, directly or indirectly.

Hell, that Sunday morning, three threads were deleted because of Manny (directly and indirectly).

I ask this because a Member here has threatened ME with some kind of legal action unless everyone agrees with what this Member believes. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Now if Mr. Steve's quote is accurate, 'Everyone agrees with what this Member believes', IMHO Manny is a fugging extremist who borders on losing touch with reality.
 
I think he just got really offended by the way people poked fun at him and his beliefs... and then lost it from there. Here's a quick rule for everyone, if you don't want it made fun of, then don't post it in the lounge. :D And you better have some think skin if you plan on arguing in there. After the first time he was offended he should have just stayed away from the lounge. I think Manny's a great person, and I hate to see him go.
 
So who deleted all of the posts here? Manny or CK5? Shouldn't have to punish the supporters in the garage for a mishap in the lounge... :(
 
This is a really sad situation. I'm sure Manny wouldn't bring this up, or use it as an excuse, but medication can sometimes cloud your judgement and I'm sure the stuff they give you for having a hole drilled in your head isn't mild. It's a shame it had to end this way.
I know I'm not clued in 100%, but I don't understand why all the content of this thread had to be erased. I'm sure a lot of people were planning on using it as a reference for their build. I know I was. I don't know of another build thread with more attention to detail and correct specs than this one. This sucks.
