I leave mine locked all winter. It doesn't hurt a thing.

I lock mine in the minute I get to an off road spot too, and put it in 4 as soon as I need it.

why not keep them in the free position and not worry about your wheel bearings wearing out sooner than needed


1974 Chevy Blazer Cheyanne. but it is on 33's now, with saggy old springs. i am in Yuma Arizona if ya got any parts for me.
