Ok, sorry if I am repeating anything here, cause I didn't read all the replies after you posted up with the 465/205 combo pic...
1. Bolting an SM465 to your 6.2L is quick and easy. You can use the stock SM465 bellhousing with the 6.2L, it is identical to the gasoline version. You will need to install a pilot bushing into the end of your crank shaft (it is just pressed in, all 6.2L cranks are machined for it) and you will need to buy a proper flywheel for it. There are two types of flywheels available for a 6.2L, one for the two piece rear main seal, and one for the single piece rear main. Be careful if buying for a single piece main, as a 6.5L flywheel will bolt up, but is NOT the right one for your engine. A 6.2L has a balance weight on it, and if that weight is not present, you will cause serious damage to your crankshaft and or bearings.
2. That SM465 / 205 will bolt straight into your truck. Try and get the crossmember, and the driveshafts from the donor truck as well. The front shaft should pop straight in, but you'll need to have the rear's length changed to fit your truck. You want to have the driveshaft yolks to weld onto the ends of the new shaft.
3. Going hydro is easy, just swap the pedals in, drill three holes for the master cylinder, and run the line down. You'll need a hydro bellhousing for the SM465, as they are different from the older mechanical linkage bellhousings.
4. Make sure that your cab hump is un-boltable, and if you can, get the cab hump from the donor truck to swap onto your own. Otherwise be prepared to cut the old low hump off and swap on a high hump, then be prepared to cut holes in it for the shifters.
5. That 465 / 205 is probably an older 10 spline unit. You'll want to take it apart and take a look at the coupler between the transmission and transfercase. Make sure it isn't badly worn. Same goes with the input / output shafts of the t-case and transmission. If it is a 32 spline unit, jump all over it!
Other than that, I don't think that there is a whole lot else to tell you... Once you get into the thick of the swap, I'm sure things will pop up, but feel free to PM me, or post any time, I've done all the mods you are hoping to do in my own truck (auto to standard, 2wd to 4x4 here

)
