My folding handle for my manuel rear window slipped off the screws but as I went to roll the window down with the other part of the handle,...it isn't rolling the window down at all...it feels like it's stripped... looks like Im going to have to go from the inside to really manuelly roll it down just to see how I can fix it. Any feedback will be helpful at this point... Thanks
The handle on my rear window has been gone for as long as I've owned the truck. I actually use a pair of needle nose pliers to raise and lower it when I have to, from the outside, using the pliers as a makeshift handle.
The window regulator itself looks like this...
...IIRC, once you take the inner tailgate panel off, you have access to the backside of the regulator (as you see it in the pic), but getting to the handle area means taking everything apart.
Thanks for the feedback...this is helpful info...I will determine if I will take it apart or have my shop guys do the task...its 30 degrees n I dont have a garage to work inside...
