march alternator pulley help

It seems that with the march pulley on my transport alternator, I`m not allowed to use both the lock washer and the nut to put it on, just not enough threads. I took the big dish and the spacer between that and the fan off, but left the fan on there, and the pulleys line up great. Any ideas?

So you are saying the lock washer removed will solve all the problems?

Lock washers don't work (from one study I've seen) so I say toss it if so. If worried, put some loc-tite on it.

Yap, when I did my march pullys it said get rid of the lockwasher on the alt. Cause I got the old pully in a bag with the lockwasher.
