This will be like a race between a NASCAR race car and a N/A 6.2l in a one ton truck. I put my money on you!

Plan the work, work the plan. Break it down into small, manageable steps on a list and cross em off as you go. The overall job may be large, but it can be broken down into hundreds of small tasks that by themselves should present no trouble. Stay focussed on a task until it is complete. If you get started on too many tasks you will get overwhelmed and confused.

Well, while fighting the flu, I have gotten the injectors pulled and sent off to be rebuilt, the block is painted, and here is the big one, finally after over a year I have moved my suburban from its resting place in the driveway into the garage. The wife is very happy to have it moved.

I think I will go out and pull the front clip off (or at least try) and hope not to puke.

yes. Did that today. All went well. I took some video, just need to get it on the computer.

Well, I'm running Firefox on a Solaris system, and for some reason it hates Photobucket vids. Any chance you can upload it to Youtube instead?

It looks ok. So, all the pushrods had oil feeding out of the top? Also look for any unusual side-to-side motion in the rockers as they operate. There shouldn't be much if any. If there is it runs the risk of popping a snap ring loose, and needs to be addressed. I have seen this on other shaft systems. Check it and let me know - I want to make sure everything is 100% before you button it up!

All pushrods had oil flowing good. I had a friend pop it over and watched all rockers closely. I did not see any side to side movement at all.

I appreciate the help! At times, i feel almost unworthy of this thing, being a newb and all. Of course, i built a beautiful house and was a newb at that as well.

It was cool to see them going good once they got pumped up. It was a definite change.

I will post some pics of where I am at soon, I have not really taken too many pics along the way.
