Maxx tire size with a 6" lift...

I'm running 35s with a 4" lift. I do have a 3" body lift, but I have all the room in the world in my fenderwells.

I had a 6" skyjacker softride on my 85 with 35's on 15x8 ralley's and normal driving and medium trail riding they never rubbed, untill I disco'ed the sway bar. Then they introduced them selves to the front fenders pretty quickly :D.

It really depends on how you are going to use the truck, if you are just DDing it I would say a 36x 12.5 would work, but you also have to consider rim size and back spacing as well.

I run 6'', trimmed fenders and 36's with no swaybar. I can still crunch the rear of the front fender if i am turning and hitting some good holes/bumps.

I had 38's on with 6" and no trimming. Both rear corners of the front fenders got smashed the first time I went wheeling. I didn't bother to cut them after that because they were bent-in in a good way.

rubbing tires 6''lift

i used a all spring 6''lift (still do)gets a whole lotta flex no sway bar,an i used 40's did some metal cutting an no rub

how much trimming do ya'll think would have to be done to clear 37's with 6"s? I was thinking of getting those cutout flares to make room for the tires and just make the trim job look pretty clean.

I'm running 37's on 3" lift in the pics below.

Must see pics of this. I have a set of 39's here and want to put them on my blazer that has 2.5" rancho springs, 1" body, and cut outs. Wondering how much more i need.
