in rome there is the place that the local kds call mayfield. it is pasically along a creek, and this is really for smaller rigs with 33's but definatly MT's. it is fubn for the preps that to go the hight school by it to go after school on firdays and play around in their new pickup trucks. i go there in my jimmy. i pulled a guy in a crew cab furd today, in fact. the other places are the schell pits, but most of that ahs no trewspassing signs around it and the cops get mad if you get caught there. the other place is the flatwoods, where it is for big trucks, or so says my dad and mom. they used to go back there. i dont know where it is frankly, so dont ask me for directions, and i have never been there. i havent heard of some of these places. can i go to these that you all are talking about even with my small tires and open diffs? i want to find a new place to go in the close area.
i have heard of a place called braswell(in rockmart), but i have never seen it, and rumour has it that it is closed off except for the poarts that are on private land. some of yall people who hjave been fdoing this for a longer time than me can maybe tell us about it.

I am not sure of Taylors farm, the place I am talking about is outside of Cave Springs. I have only been there twice. The first time was Christmas eve, and the second it rained for two days before we got there and the whole place was under water. I guess that is why it is called flatwoods. Here is a link to a pic of the ranger(submarine) that tried to follow us through! http://www.geocities.com/shakerbuilt/Customers-Friends.html Oh yeah the pic is at the bottom on the left.

Damn, it has been a while since I talked to him. I thought he might have found one by now. I know Mike Curtis @ East Hiram 4x4 had two of them up until a couple of weeks ago. When I bought mine last spring I paid $950 and it had to be rebuilt. I called the guy again a few weeks ago and now he wants $1350.00 for one. Good Luck on finding one affordable around here!

Taylors farm is the power line trails off 61 between Rockmart and Cartersville. That's the place with the nails and cops.

Braswell is in Paulding CO. and they are A$$holes. The only way you can ride in Paulding without getting into trouble is with WRITTEN permission or with a landowner present.

Grim, unless they are doing it up there now, too, the nails are at the entrance to the powerlines by my house. These are the trails that stop at the dump.

LOL-even Hiram would be better.
BTW, I'm off E Paulding(Dragstrip) Road.
