That's not metro's although it looks close. His has a custom tire carrier on the back as well as grill and brush guard on the front. I wish I could have got a pic of his little baby parked next to mine when he came by last year.
Keep your eyes open for ppl around here getting trucks. Most will rip those running boards off and throw them away.
I ripped a set off my burb when i got it. Was going to sell them, but they were so damn ugly i had at them with a sawzall and threw them out. Couldn't even stand to have them in my side yard
But to each his own, look around. Maybe teh forsale forum?
I've got a set that came off my 1990 K5, they have a bit more chrome on them, I believe they should fit all K5's.... Shoot me a E mail or a visitors message if your interested.
Mine are the aluminum diamond-tread type. Don't like 'em, annoyingly in the way. I'd let mine go to anybody in the Phoenix metro area, provided you bring your own tools and do all the work to remove 'em.
I had some on my 81, not sure what I did to them though... I think one got tore off on a rock or something and I just pulled the other off. I put bolts and rtv sealer in the mounting holes to prevent more rust from forming.
I hava a set exactly like those. Would like to get rid of them. Made out of stainless steel. Nice running boards.
Prolly cost more to ship than they are worth.
well i bought a set of them on ebay for $29 and we got to drive to get (65 miles away) so me and my dad are going saturday. Metro nevr did answer my email??????
since I will be mostly on the farm and road it will work ok.
