mid 80\'s - mid 90\'s 4wd Toyota/Nissan pickup

Ok... I know its a horrible thing to say, but I am on the lookout for a daily driver/commuter/toss-around truck that will get good mileage. So...

I am looking for a mid-80's to mid-90's Toyota or Nissan pickup. Needs to be an extra cab, would like a 4-cyl, 5-speed. Dont care about lift, tires, etc... just needs to run well and have no mechanical defects.

If I wanted to pick up another project truck it would be a 67 - 72 shorty 2wd chevy...

I spotted a clean 1984 Toy ex-cab (4 cyl, 5 spd) stock height for $2500 in Pendelton on a dealer lot. The same place also has a '92 toy ex-cab for $5800 with a 5 spd and stock height.

The '84 doesnt have much room behind the seats but should be enough to help with leg room (my guess why you want the ex-cab). It also has a solid axle rather than IFS.

Right across HWY 395 from McDonalds. About 1 miles south of I-84/395 exit. I dont remember the name exactly but "Something Toys".

how about an 87 turbo 4runner? but its auto... nevermind, oh and not extended cab... oh well, gotta plug it while i can...
