Millermatic 140 or lincoln 3200hd mig welders, which do I buy?

All I ever weld is shock brackets to axles, and the occasional roll cage piece.

I'm looking on Eghey, what happened to the deals on the eghey? stuff sells for the same price or higher than I can buy it here local, plus I don't have to deal with shipping, WTF

Anyway, the land-of-non-existent-customer-service, AKA home depot has the Lincoln 3200hd for 479, but, their customer service licks my left hemorrhoid.
I can get that millermatic 140 for about 630 on the Egheyness no shipping, but I'll bet it takes 3 weeks to get here. SO...

Check out local welding supply stores I haven't really started looking at prices yet got the money just have to look. I think any three would work Hobart Miller or Lincoln I have a 220 big one want a littler 110 power. the last one I had would do 5/16 but it was a stretch

I've just found the

hobart 140

good price 470, free shipping, and a good company to deal with tractor supply. I'm too grumpy to go out in public, I got too much going on, and no time to do it.

I'm going to sleep on it, see how I feel about it in the morning, If I still like it I'll order it. plus my order from DIY4X should be arriving here shortly, (I hope) then I can get on with stuff...

I just spent a bunch of time looking around, and thats it the best price, best deal on shipping, everything.

So, I bought it, be here in a week. screw home depot!

The big difference with the Hobart's and the Millers is the voltage adjustment. The Hobart uses 'tap voltage' and the miller uses an infinite adjustmant dial. I much prefer the infinite adjustmant...

I will agree with the infinite adjustments. Mine has voltage and wire feed. But if short welds and repairs are all you are doing, the Hobart will work well.
