dang truck drives like a Cadillac now... lot quicker too

Did those goodies end up under that Yota?

at first i was like yota???? but it does kinda look like one. its a 93 s10. i left the 1tons cause i plan to do some towing. s10 im leaving the heck alone. it runs

i think it looks good, but then again i'm not big on huge lifts anyways. glad you kept the 1tons under there:D

Looks like its ready for some 40's!!:haha:

i always think about taking my truck back to stock or close too. not that its extreme now sometime would be nice to be a little lower.

That's the good thing about a leaf-sprung vehicle; it's easy to lift or return to stock if you want to, like if you need to sell it and want to keep all the cool stuff you've put on it.

I don't know about your area, but around here gas prices are slowly starting to climb back up. Last summer I had to park my truck because I couldn't afford to run it like I wanted to. Going back close to stock sized tires might have actually appealed to me if that was the only way I had to get around.

Besides, on most trails you really don't always need 38" or larger tires to have fun.

This truck never really seen offroad anymore and them swampers were so flat spotted the truck was undrivable. I sold the swampers on ebay but like usual the guy hasn't contacted me yet. I'm still gettin used to not jumpin in and out of the truck.

I aint mad at ya! I am getting ready to drop mine down. Gotta find someone to trade my nearly new 37's too for some 315/75/16 tires and then I am removing the body lift from the truck. I cant wait till I can get this all done. I want it to be more practical for the type off use it see's bigger is not always better.

I dont blame you at all. I've thought about dropping my truck to 2in and 33s plenty of times.

I just dont get why go back to push pull steering?

Most setups won't work with no lift unless you have a custom x-member.

with such a small lift, and if hes not wheeling it as much, why keep it, push pull did just fine until crossover was invented some 15 years ago...

Anyways, I think its cool that you took the huge beast down to a respectable height... It definatly wont wheel like those broke springs, but it will ride better, haha like a cadilliac

Gonna need to change your username now. :deal: :D

As long as it doesn't involve excessive chrome or spinners you are OK in my book. :waytogo:

if i threw the 1/2 tons back under there i would lose the 4.11 gearing and also the bigger brakes

ive learned that success on the trial is having a beater well built truck you dont care about.. i show up nicer bigger trucks all the time in that s10 cause i aint worried about body damage

yeah my drag link or whatever you call it from the gear box to steering arm is straight it would have went into the front crossmember. also the 2wd box was trashed. i used to have the push pull with 38s and 1/2 tons and the thing steered great

yeah its just a grocery getter... funny thing is on its first trip i actually took it shopping.
