Military chevy guys ???

Can you guys tell me what you think of this k30 department of energy k30 crew cab i found. Im most likely going to buy it but i was wondering..

What model is it?m10??

what do you think i can sell the box for?

does anyone know if they are locked front or rear?

If it's indeed a military, should have a Detroit out back. IIRC the only front that got a locker/posi was the ambulance....

Not a CUCV.

CUCV's never came with the rain gutter things, or the cab top lights. Plus it has no slave terminals in the grill.

Granted, all of that stuff could have been done after the military got rid of it.......but I doubt it.

Ya its a little odd thats what i thought but the guy says thats how he got it government related.

On the box it has it says us department of energy ??? Little odd. I still hope it has a locker hadn't had a chance to get under it.

As mentioned already it definitely looks like a civilian model truck...doesn't mean it wasn't originally bought by the government, just that is wasn't a military spec CUCV.

Based on that I would guess it's unlikely it has a Detroit in the back...maybe a gov-lock or open in the rear and open in the front (assuming stock). I would also guess 4.10's.
