Mixing oil types

Ran a SBC home from the bottom of the Baja peninsula on a gallon of mineral oil.

But my wife's tubrbski 4 banger gets the 0-20 per specs. Still under warranty.

Also consider your turbo. An old school NA engine is pretty forgiving, as long as it actually gets oil changes. With VVT and turbo, give'er what she wants.

On the flip side, there are flat tappet guys who swear by certain oils and zinc additives. Personally, I only have one old SBC in the fleet and it gets regular Valvoline or whatever from the local store and no problems to report these last couple decades+.
