Mixing roller rocker arms, input needed.

After storing my 383 at a buddy's garage for a bit over a year, a bunch of things have gone missing. Biggest issue of which is 3 of my freaking roller rockers. I have Proform 1.6 ratio rockers for 7/16" studs. Problem is, to order 3 rockers costs $65 for Summit brand ones. So I can spend $65 for 3 rockers to complete the set I have(with mismatched rockers), or spend $200 for a new set of Crane rockers. I can't decide if I think it is ok to run 3 different rockers or not. It isn't a race engine, just going in a '47 Studebaker street car. However, it just feels cheap to do it that way. But saving money sure would be nice. Especially since I will be stuck with that incomplete set on the shelf.

seen partial sets all the time on evilbay.

only way i would mix match is ratio sizes. not worth it in my eyes to mix brands.

Kind of the way I am looking at it. Sucks big time. I will be dropping over $500 today just on stuff that was lost while I had this engine stored there. Luckily his pickup is in my driveway awaiting work he needs to pay me for. Pissing me off more and more everyday, so I think the bill will feel the brunt of that.

Eh I ordered new ones. Honestly if nothing else my hint of ocd wouldn't let me do it. Hate to spend the money but just means the bag project is a little slowed. I would have driven myself crazy with those 3 rockers.

To be honest, there is nothing wrong with mixing brands as long as the ratio is verifiably the same. ProForm rockers are very cheap rockers though. If you want the best rockers for the money you should pick up a set of the Comp Cams Pro Magnum roller rockers. They're $285.95 from Summit Racing.
