MNorby's Goat - Ibex build

Matt, what is plan B?? Lol

Plan B is for when plan A doesn't go as planned :D

Winch maybe :dunno:

Good stuff matt. I discovered those signs were aluminum after making a floor patch out of one, then wondered why the eff it wouldn't weld to the steel :haha:

Yeah, that might be a problem. Could rivet them.
Yep! It is the winch on/off switch.

I will have to turn you in for the misuse of a sign!

I think this is a better use of that sign, saved me $100 for a sheet of aluminum.... :)

Got the roof all painted and waiting for the bent tube corner gussets so I can burn them in and re-install everything. They shipped out last week from CA and are now in FL. The USPS apparently has some goofy way to get to Wyoming via all-the-fricken-way-across-the-country route. Happened a few months ago too when a package left CA and got to CO then went to NC, GA, back to CO, and back to NC before I emailed to see what the deals was. Apparently the barcode got messed up on that one and made it keep gong to the east coast. Emailed the USPS on this one and no reply yet.

Went ahead and painted the roof panel and got proper stainless hardware to mount it while I wait for the engine harness stuff some more. Also Installed some Fishmouth bent tube corner gussets and some 4" HID lights.

You should throw a set of hub caps on those wheels for a picture before you take them off.

I should find a set of the old style chevy hubcaps, there is a good chance those wheels will be wheeled on someday for the fun of it.

Stock tire challenge? :D

Local group does what they call the mustache run.

Must have no bigger than 33's and must be 50% tread or less or 100% tread and severely weather cracked. It would be cool to see a ck5 version of that. :)

I've been wanting to setup a stock size tire run and only 1 other guy from here is on board with me. We took his Jeep buggy out last summer with just some 35s instead of the normal 42s and it was a blast.

I went out last night and jumped the wires to check it out about dusk. Thing is definitely bright. Once I get it wired in where I don't need 4 hands to hold the pins and jumper wires into it I'll snap a night shot.

About 90% of the wiring done and enough to fire it up.

And shot of the rock lights, tails, rear, and gauge lights on.

40" led bar on it.

Also built a 2 piece grommet for the hole large enough for the engine harness connectors to fit though.
