MNorby's Goat - Ibex build

Made the center steel floor section removable instead of welded in solid so I have the option of easily bringing drivetrain out the top if wanted. Also got seat mounts done and got hole cut for transfer case shifters.

I think thats a great idea Matt, I'm leaving my new rear floorpan screwed in to be able to work on the fuel tank from above rather than have to unhook everything and drop it out the bottom.

Sure pays dividends to think ahead!

Dash and steering column in today. Need to grab my coils out of the storage shed and make sure orbital clears them before I mount that. Drew said it would, I think its just the angle of mounting that might interfere, want to just double check.

that's looking good Matt, how does it "feel" in the seat?

Feels great. Hope no one saw me sitting in it making engine noises.

wow, burn! although I haven't heard the sweetness of the BBC in the Maiden in a few months now!

Installed Drew's steering pump brackets. Hope to get fuel tank mounted tomorrow.

Did you see the thread of her? NICE!

And Matt, does the alignment of the pulleys give good centering for the belt? I had a few issues with pulley alignment...if it wasn't perfect it would eventually eat up the outside edge of the belt. Took me a little shimming of the w/p pulley and getting the PS pulley at just the right depth to get it right.

eyeballing the belt it looks dead center and with the spacers being measured down to the .001" and drew drawing it all up in CAD I bet it is right on.

Got fuel tank and tranny shifter mounted this morning. I want to put my tranny cooler under the fuel tank so I tried to leave some room there but might lower it down some still.
