MNorby's Goat - Ibex build

I've looked into some CO wheeling. I get to Cheyenne a few times a year and thought of hauling it down. Looked around but looks like most the good stuff is either Colorado Springs or Montrose. Was hoping for some stuff in Ft Collins area since that is close to Cheyenne.

I don't think there is any wheeling around Cheyenne either. I've never taken the rig there but thats where the inlaws and my sister are. If there was something good nearby it would be worth taking it when we go for a week trip and go wheeling for a couple days.

That's why I asked, I lived in Laramie and Casper, and never knew of anything around Cheyenne. I am sure there might be a few places the locals get their tires dirty at but nothing worth a trip....

From the guys I've talk to there isn't but there are some cool looking small rock formations all over between Cheyenne to Douglas and over to Lust and Torington. Might be something cool on some private property there if a guy really wanted to scope it out.

I still think you'd have some fun on the Kelly Flats trail. It should be open after Memorial Day.

Plus there are the sand dunes out by Walden if that stuff interests you at all.

Well, got talked into racing again in the U4 class in the YORR series here. Hoping to get more pictures from some guys, especially the tire section you have to wheelie over or get stuck....... :D

Hope the Atlas doesn't blow up again because of it this winter like last year :surepal:

You gotta give up this racing stuff....that will fix the atlas issues :D

Looks sick Norby! I think your Ibex has a better look than most I have seen. You gonna be at Blazer Bash this year?

Oh, and congrats on the baby boy! I just saw that, you snuck it in there.

Thanks guys, its a new experience but enjoying it.
Post race inspection found a few loose jam nuts but nothing major.
Had Kert at DIY4x make me some big tie-down tabs to weld to axles to make strapping down rig quicker and cleaner.
