I know you all think they are junk but just like everyone I have more time than money. I can get them for $375 for 4 so I am having a hard time spending 375 each for a better tires. I am runnning them on my stock k30 16.5 wheels that are 7" wide. How low can I let them without worrying about them dismounting? Will it help to sipe or groove them? They are the goodyear 37 radials. Thinking about dieseling them like we do the circle track tires.

Will that grinding disc you use on your circle track tires cut on the edge? If so, I would cut the center lugs in half. That would make the tire more flexy.

The last time we were at Tuttle, my bias ply 36x12.50x16.5" Super Swamper TSL's out performed his Hummer tires. I would like to know as well anything to make them better though, because they will probably be my next tire.

I think if I took them to 10 psi it would help but I was afraid of loosing the tire on a 16.5.

You could buy a weld on bead lock and the tires and still be cheaper than any other tire I bet.

i dont run my 16.5 rim tires anything less than 12 psi.without a beadlock, you can lose a bead quick since it is 45 degree bead.

I ran mine at 8 psi. I also lost a tire. Then again that one was leaking air, and was down to probably no more than 2 psi when I lost it.

I ran the 36" bias ply version last weekend on the rocks and the only complaints I have are I tore them up really bad. Like ripped huge pieces out of the big lugs. Other than that they worked well if the radials are even half the tire the bias ply version is I would imagine they will do very well

why not use??..

TUBES??...they'll keep the air in at low pressure, wont they?..works on my tractor tires...:wink1:

What do these weld on bead locks cost? What keeps the inside on?

The same guy on Pirate that sell's the 37" Goodyears also sells the Hmmv rims that they came on, which are Beadlock rims. Only thing is that they need to be re-centered to be run on regular axles. But the guy sell's them blasted, coated and re-centered to whatever lug pattern you want for 200 bucks. Thats a very cheap beadlock wheel and cheap 37's all shipped pretty cheap.
