So I am out on a walk with my kids today around one of the old highways in our area when I spot what I think is an old car way down over the bank. I climb down and find what I think is a Model A Roadster in quite good condition considering the age. My question is does any one have a photo of one of these from the side or rear so I can be more certain of what this is. ThanksJ

If its a gold mine story, you best get a hold of it ASAP.:D

That looks like it, the hood seems slightly differant though. What are these going for in usable condition? Yea google is the $h!t. Thanks J.

post a pic, i'm sure one of use hotrodders on here can identify it. I got a 29 model A myself.

yea get a pic of it. My dad has a 30 model A 5-window coupe as well as several 33-34 fords

I will try and get some pics toworrow, I might even see if I can winch it up to the road and get it on the trailer.

If it is a stock model A they only bring about 10K fully restored around these parts. If it is a street rod then it could bring as much as 40K-50K. Like everyone said, get some pics. Ford made model A sedans, coupes, trucks, roadsters, and cabriolets. The basic difference between the roadster and cabriolet is the fact that the roadsters do not have side windows in the doors.

you forgot phaetons :D

Well wish me luck! The kids are on spring break so we are all going down to try and get this car winched up and home. I was looking on ebay and they are getting a pretty penny for these in worse shape. J

Not to be a downer but, did anyone consider the legal aspect of this? What if the car was stolen or something? You could have some serious issues with the local authorities.:(

Otherwise, good luck.

Here's the pics of the car we drug home. It was a convertable and there are two tags on the firewall, one is un-readable the other reads like this

BODY NUMBER
138-525
BRIGGS MFG. CO. DETROIT MICH.

So what do you guys think this could be? Thanks

Well I appears to be a model a although the frame looks a little different to me. How about a good pic of that fender then we can tell ya if its 28-29 or 30-31 model a

also get some more pics of the frame, especially the rearmost part. If that is a model A I'd say you could get 400-700 for that stuff

Crappy pic of a crappy fender, dont know if it will help or not. I will get some pics of the frame tomorrow. On ebay they are selling a replica model a frame identical to the one under this car.
