You can have mine. The attitudes around here have, quite simply, sucked ass as of late, and I've actually found myself hanging out here less and less. I feel like 8 years worth of hard work was for all for nothing........
I remember when people actually appreciated what we do, and the time it takes to do it. Nowadays you've got longtime members telling Mods to "suck my balls" and guys like Mr. cybersniper above who, although they fully admit they barely come around anymore, still feel some sort of wierd sense of entitlement- enough, in fact, to warrant sharing their displeasure with the site ad nauseum.
What a shame........

I appreciate the mods work in keeping the peace. I really can't understand why people get so worked up over this virtual chit chat anyway--

I agree with the brother above me.
I really REALLY enjoy this place. And I haven't had a PM from a moderator yet... And hopefully I never have too.
Quite frankly I hate reading a perfectly good thread, and then someone craps on it (pardon my french).
I know I'm a "noob" so I stay under the radar, and give info when I can, and when I can't I try and keep my trap shut. Padding doesn't prove anything in the garage.
I realize this is a family orienented site, and rarely (if ever) do I see an 11 year old on here. But I try and type my posts as if everyone was. No need to get nasty...

Yes I provide information when I can. Yes I ask questions when I see something I like, yes I even post to subscribe to threads that get my attention. This site has provided a huge amount of information to me, that is the reason I joined. If a moderator says I am doing something wrong, or moves a thread, it is my fault for not following the rules. I do my best to follow the rules, and I am sure I have broken some. Thankfully I haven't gotten a vacation as of yet, and I hope to keep it that way.

I just want to say this whole thing is a two way street. Treat us well and we'll treat you the same or better...even if we have to move or delete something. I don't mind that part of the job, it's not difficult or time consuming and everyone occassionally posts stuff in the wrong place.

I don't know what the problem is. I've been coming to this site since there was only one moderator, ( Steve ). I have been here since it was a free site. Granted I am not the most frequent person to post here, but I am here all of the time. In that amount of time I don't remember being on the repremand end of the stick. In fact, the moderators have always been extremely helpful. They are volunteering their time to make this a better site for the rest of us. They don't deserve to be disrespected or belittled.
As for my end of things. To the moderators, I'd like to say thank you. I am 100% sure that the people who don't appreciate your efforts are the small minority around here. The rest of us are grateful for your efforts.
