Loud exhaust.

I think thats about the only thing I dont like. Its alot of fun in short bursts. But every trip to the dunes, im absolutely sick of it by the time i get home after the drive back....

Yep. I have been there done that so many times. And in the end, I always like DRIVING the trucks with the quieter exhaust. Love the sound of the loud stuff, just not if I'm driving it.

I wear ear plugs on the long drives. The exhaust dumping out behind the driver door is annoying. Wish I could run it out the back. But.....

Odd, I must be weird.....never once have got tired of it. And in my life I have very LITTLE time driving a non piped V8

Its a part of gearhead life!!

Its about 50 min trip mostly highway to dunes. So that twice kinda sucks every time I go.

Its super fun in the dunes with loud exhaust.... But it kinda sucks with the drone driving.... Mine is about the same exit as wades. Right in front of the rear tire.

My "new" c10 dumps under the step. I understand the annoyance of it.....but then I drive next to a highway barrier and open the 4 barrel.....and happiness ensues....

I love loud exhaust! I dont like drone though or overly raspy exhaust. The drone will give you a headache after 20 minutes.

Superlift or Rough Country springs, and Cheap shocks.

I like my 52s.

I agree with Martin on high steer. I have had the same HD tie rod for almost 10 years.

Any Moon visor or Lund/DeeZee/JC Whitney bolt on brings the ghey..

You just listed everything on my truck :doah:

 grow up....

Im with Steve actually in the first post, my sliders were not the most intelligent thing I have done. They need to be redone, they;re ripping the floor out.

ya need to actually throw a few discs in those Trapps and tune em a bit... ;)

I think I may have gone too big with Mutt's magnaflow... it's just too damn quiet, needs some throat when in the pedal..... hopefully it blows out some..

other than that, I'm happy with all my mods to this point I'd say...

I just remember them sounding absolutely fuggin sick with the 340's I use to run in my Cuda's/Challengers back in the day...

i will say, when I started this thread, it was supposed to be less of a bitch fest and more pictures and solutions.

but carry on either way!

:haha:

I don't think Mutt has any solutions for anyone, other than my demented state... :doah: :haha:

My worst was Tuff Country ez-ride springs. When I finally bought my ORD springs, I couldn't believe that I had put up with the other junk so long! !!!!
Second was Vintage Air. It was loud and didn't work worth anything in the winter, or on rainy nights. I Went to a stock setup.

What was the specs on the rest of the truck that had the springs? What didn't you like about them? And what shocks were you running? Same ones with ord Springs? I'm kinda screwed cause I only want a 2" lift so I'm hoping the tuff country ex ride 2" Springs will work out ok for me.
