Modified hard top

I've seen some pictures of people who have cut their hardtops up and basically turned them into a bimini top. Are there any more details on this anywhere?

This is what I was looking at doing to mine. Was wondering how you would go about sealing the cut areas back up. Guess just some fiberglass mat and resin.

That is how @Hoss7979 cut his, maybe search for his build thread.

@centexk5 I would probably do the mat and resin. If you aren't worried about it being perfect it's pretty easy. You could leave the top of the window frame and go along that edge
