moose season

yeah, good luck. Moose is on the top of my list of animals I want to hunt. Too bad it cost so much for us out of towners.:dunno:

380 pounds off meat ,takes 2 licence per moose. tried to get another one didn,t work out. season finish sunday 21st, were all back too work monday so thats it for this year. at the butcher there was a 600 pound cow in the cooler what a difference in size. had a real nice week ,lots off food and lots off beer!!! there used too be and old guy who
would buy the hides, but he passed about 3 years ago. my friend a trapper he uses all the butchers left over, heads ,hides ,too attract coyote.

started setting up camp:laugh:!!! 2 hrs trip going up . cousin made a good year and rented a mini escavator. a first in 25 years level parking had installed moose cam in mid august, got a cow and calf that are living in my spot. and a headless moose

wife only came sunday was alone with alot off beer,had supper with friends at an other set up ,after supper with to meet a younger group snap a few evening pics:doah:!!!
 
got a cow sunday 5.30 pm,finish getting it out at 8.30 .was raining all along about 500 feet from road. only took a few pictures this after noon. the girls took some pictures .she in the butchers cooler for 8 or 9 days weights 475 pounds. going back tonight hoping too get another one!!! the killer got have a k5 picture
 
good harvest again Brian....my brother and cousin just got a field dressed 654lb Bull north of Millknocket, ME....my brother has been trying to get a permit for years and this is his first...they were very pleased with their hunt.
