Thanks for the great comments, coming from you guys it means alot, ive rebuilt and restored this truck TWICE ! First time i got screwed and the rust came through in about 10 months , wasnt happy. This time i had it done properly. The blazer was shipped over to bahrain when it was new in 1982! I picked it up 6 years ago, it was on its last legs.It had a 305 sbc in it with a th400 , and man its was so under powered , i then found in a corner of a garage a 454 in bits and asked the owner if it was for sale , it was so had it overhauled bored over 60 and drove it like that for 3 years slowly ive had some bits put on 750 double pump,280 comp cam,781 heads (it was on this site that i found out about good heads , and found them in same garage that i got the engine from!)hooker headers, flow masters , th350 , np205 , 3000 stall b&m torque converter . Ive only had the 4wd drive working for a few months and all i can say is WOW ! there is nothing like the sound of i big block working hard! There is only sand to play in here , but still it good fun , especially when you see the faces of the land rover owners when you drive past them when there stuck!!!

i've never seen a full coverage grill like that, sweet! good looking truck:D
THanks , i made a steel one first it looked cool but took 3 people to put it fn heavy so , had it made in a work shop here out of ali and came out great, i got the outer edge polished.

I had to look on a map too see where Bahrain was, bet shipping costs are terrible. Nice blazer though, the license plate is cool.

Yes they are pretty high , the guy that brings all my gear over has a shop here called hot rod , and he is always bringing parts over for the drag car guys so its not so bad really.

Home made phantom grill to be exact, if people want to $500 for a grill happy days , living here in bahrain it would of cost more to ship it than the price tag. They are very simple to make. I will remove it and put some pics up if any of you are interested?
