A set of headers will help on the high-rpm side.

I've removed and reinstalled my top and still no leaks. I'm still using my 23 year old seal. One tip for this: tighten the cab bolts first and then the bed bolts. Otherwise, you will get leaks.

Hope this helps.

I'd call the parts store and see if anyone makes a chip for your Blazer.

I am assuming that since it is an 87 it is a TBI engine.
There is not alot you can do to them without getting the engine all out of whack.
Comp Cams makes a TBI cam, then headers/ dual exhaust .
I believe that there is also a chip that you can upgrade to.
That is why personaly I feel that TBI is better suited as a daily driver.
If ya want to make the ponies and want fuel injection then Port injection is the only way to fly.
But that gets spendy realy fast.

yeah its a daily driver for the next years to come, and next in line after the stereo (putting in in 2 weeks) im gonna install dual flowmasters, if the price is right, ill look up on headers too, any suggested brand or style?
