more questions on my 98 chevy

just trying to do a tune up. got the parts from a friend. all made by GP sorensen. got bosch platinum plus plugs. for the truck why am i better off getting all a/c delco parts? i dont get it. was told by three guys i know. i would think its all the same. i dont see how it matters. the wires are made in mexico. would think they would be better if they were made in the usa.

so what do you guys think of this??

i work on them all day. i am not telling you for my health. trying to save you time. you install those plugs and have a funny skip or surging at speed/load then i told you.

and tell your friends to shove those bosch platinum sh!t plugs up there tail pipes. i change them out all the time and then thay run better.

all i said was gm cap / rotor / plugs. the wires fine with good prem stuff from anyone.

do what you want i dont realy care.

wow this is with my discount. wires 127 cap 68 plugs 53 rotor 13 way more then i thought it would be. i need it tho.

stay away from those bosch plugs...Id run delco plugs in it...and the only time id stray from that would be NGK plugs in some of the 3rd and 4th gen small block motors.

ac delco for gm, motorcraft for ford, champion for dodge, ngk for honda, nissan, etc...put what came in it from the factory IMO. Sure, plugs are easy, but it something i want to do once every 50K miles or whatever, not once then again at 5K miles because the missing and skipping gets on your nerves.

Didnt me and K30 tell you this the other day... AC Delco ignition parts on those Vortec rigs and nothing else. Do what you want but when it runs like ass with those aftermarket parts dont tell us we didnt tell you several times.
