more updates on project camok5 **sept. 17**

yeah, I usually take pics of everything so I know where they go, and when I take them off, I put them in the order they came off, so I dont have to struggle to remember.

yes it's dual headlights per side, the grill has a crack at the top from the previous owner, I take a picture of the grille sometime soon (monday or tuesday) what all does he need? shipping might kill it though...

http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=143601&highlight=blazer

I had to get what I could from it (parts) and scrap the body. I tried selling it but no one was interested. The tub went to the boneyard, and I sold the tranny/x-case/driveshafts. Threw away the dash pieces, heater, a/c, wiring harness, etc. And kept some other things.

since I moved into town, and downsized a lot. I had no room for it. The blazer wasn't worth fixing up because of the body. I can't afford a tow rig and a trailer, so maybe it just a trail rig was out of the question, and selling it whole wasn't working. In the front yard we only have enough room for 2 vehicles, plus 1 on the street (has to be insured) then in the back we have room for 2, maybe 3 short ones. But I didn't have enough money for 2 projects of the size I was imagining.
Anyways, yeah its gone. And from some members I was adviced to get more 4wheeling experience before I go all out and lift/bigger tires, etc. like I was planning. Guess its for the best. Still not making much money since im back in school, and then when the snow comes I wont be making any money until spring. So until I mod. the Jimmy (my first project) I will just fix up the garage and build up my tool collection.

sorry for the long post.......

very smart move Steve, better to have the riight tools the first time, rather than working with the wrong tools and having to do it twice.

Yeah first on my list is fitting wrenches...I have been using regular open/box end wrenches on the fittings on my carb...
also I need stubbies for tight spot...60% off at Canadian tire for mastercraft 7 pc.
slowly but surely.
