I ripped my compressor off my '87 blazer. Its just sitting in my garage. Its yours if you want it. Shipping can't be that much. I don't know if it works or not though.

Dont feel bad,its 108 here today and the heat in my truck doesnt shut off all the way /forums/images/icons/frown.gif Just kinda comes out the defrost and floor vents all the time when your moving /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

You know the funny part is my A/C in my sub works great, but I never need it in Oregon and the one in my other sub dosn't and it's the traveling one which I take to CA and AZ. Go figure. /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

Wow - the one on my Blazer grenaded a couple weeks ago too! I suddenly don't feel so bad, now that I know I'm not the only yutz driving around the desert with no A/C /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

Frizzlefry, I installed a cutoff valve in the water line to the heater on mine. That stops the heated air from leaking into the cab. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif When winter rolls around, just open the valve so the coolant can flow through the heater once again. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif

Just wondering...... Did any of you guys who blew the compressors by any chance convert over to 134a. Or were you still using freon.

they charged it with freeze 12.

oh which by the way voids a warranty on a new compressor.
